Goodyear & Goodyear has been a leading
southwest Georgia real estate sales and farm management company
for almost 50 years. We provide our clients with professional services
in real estate sales, farmland and plantation management, and accounting
services. Goodyear & Goodyear is owned by Mr. Henry M. Goodyear,
Jr. and Mr. Henry M. (Mark) Goodyear, III.
Real Estate Brokerage Services:
Goodyear & Goodyear has been involved in some of the largest
real estate sales in the south. We have represented buyers and sellers
alike. Our clients include individuals, corporations, banks, pension
funds, and overseas investors. We strive to provide professional
service to landowners when marketing their property. Our ad and
marketing campaign for properties listed with us help ensure the
landowner will get maximum exposure and will therefore receive top
dollar for their sale.
Robert Ivey, Accredited Land Consultant, heads up our real estate
sales division.
Goodyear & Goodyear is currently licensed in Georgia &
Florida.
Management:
We specialize in the management of plantation hunting land, rowcrop
farming, pecan production, and timberland. Our firm currently manages
some of the most productive plantations in the Southwest Georgia
area. We also manage and market two grower owned pecan cleaning
plants and manage one grower owned peanut buying point and storage
warehouse.
We are Professional members of the American Society Farm Managers
and Rural Appraisers. Our staff can provide landowners with the
management practice best suited for their needs. Our management
options include consulting, leasing, and direct farm operations.
We also offer quail habitat and wildlife management. Our manager,
John Marbury, works closely with pond biologists and the Auburn
University School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences, and has had
successful results for several of our managed properties.
Accounting:
Goodyear & Goodyear can provide accounting services for landowners.
Our full time staff, headed by Donna Ford, provides services that
can be tailored to the landowner’s specific needs and can
include the following:
- Budgeting – Assists management in preparing annual budgets
to provide landowners with realistic estimates on cost of operation
- Payroll – Prepare employee disbursements & W-2’s,
file tax returns, maintain employee files
- Financial Statements – Provide reports with actual
costs and budget comparisons
- Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable – Assist
management and pay day to day operation expenses and collect funds,
allowing the landowners to focus on business operations
